What We Do
We specialise in food, consumer and industrial packaging, focusing on long shelf-life barrier packaging, particularly food trays. With our own pulp development lab, our engineers and product design team, we assist companies in converting their existing packaging to a more sustainable fiber alternative. All our products are bespoke and developed to meet your requirements. Moulded from sustainable fibers, our pulp packaging and products are the ideal solutions to make your company greener.
Our Moulding Technologies
We have two core molding technologies: wet moulding and dry moulding. In wet moulding, pulp fibres are suspended in water, vacuum formed wet and dried in a tool. This technology offers flexible manufacturing with lower MOQs. In dry moulding, pulp fibres are pressed under extremely high pressure to make for a very dense substrate; similar to plastic. This technology offers exceptionally high volume thereby requiring higher MOQs.

ThermoFibre’s products are derived from many different sustainable pulp fibres derived from sugar cane, wood fibre, new corrugated clippings, bamboo. The fibre used depends on the application and location. A plastic packaging application can be replicated with a moulded fibre counterpart. ThermoFibre specializes in assisting companies in converting their packaging to make their product more sustainable throughout their product line.
